detectivesarcasm: natashaboucher2: I’d just like to say some words to those currently bashing Arizona, because I’m tired and frustrated with you guys.  Is she being mean? Yep. Is she being moody? Absolutely. Is she perfect? Hell. freaking. no. She bails, and she’s stubborn and independent and she is STRUGGLING! And when you’re struggling, especially with something that will impact the rest of your life, you lash out. And usually against the people that love you, because you can. Because they love you, and they won’t just walk away. Am I pumped that Callie is getting hurt? Of course not, I love Callie, and she’s being a good man in a freaking hurricane of pain, but even Callie understands that Arizona needs to lash out. That face, when Arizona sees Callie hurting, that’s what you haters should be taking in. That face says “what have I done?”, “I love her” and THAT is why we ship Calzona! Because they are an imperfect beautiful couple! They make mistakes! And they push eachother, but I have no doubt that Arizona will get past her struggles and be happy again, and so will Callie. Also, on another note, to those of you being like “suck it up Mark died and Lexie died”. Yes, they did, and I think Arizona knows it very well considering she begged Mark to survive. It’s called dealing with grief. She’s dealing with a lot. I’m gonna stop before I write a novel. Just chill the eff out and leave my sweet, angry little baby alone. <3

 #they probably said it to each other when they were little #before they knew they could love each other so deeply #before they knew just how powerful the words were #(‘san is my best friend and i love her’ britt once declared proudly after coming home from grade school one day) #they probably said it offhandedly throughout middle school and high school #in a casual way but still full of the gratitude that they didn’t know ran so much deeper beneath the surface #(like that one night when santana had a squabble with her parents and refused to eat dinner because she was upset) #(and she was starving) #(and brittany climbed up to her window to sneak her a bacon burger and cheese fries) #(‘holy crap i love you i am starving thank you so much britt jesus’) #but then the feelings unraveled #and the love that was always there came to the surface #brittany was the first of the pair to truly embrace it as soon as she knew it #it took santana a little longer #and when santana finally admitted it and said it aloud #the timing just wasn’t right and it broke both of their hearts #and santana thought brittany didn’t love her #but brittany said it over and over to remind santana how much she meant it #and now they never stop saying it and never let the other forget it #because you never know when everything will change #you never know when distance and circumstance will separate you and make everything hurt so much more #they have so much love for each other #say it now #say it as often as you can #as honestly as you can #’i love you’ #because you never know when you’ll lose the chance to say it #brittana

#Can you imagine when Santana stopped saying it back though? #Like sometime in middle school I bet she just stopped #and at first Brittany didn’t notice because it had always just been a casual thing anyway #but then one night Brittany was playing with Santana’s hair and Santana said ‘Oh my god I l—’ #and then suddenly changed to ‘You’re the best’ or something lame like that and then #Brittany started realizing that Santana never said ‘I love you’ anymore #and that even beyond that she got all weird when Brittany said it until finally Brittany just stopped saying it too—or #at least stopped saying it aloud #Instead she got sneaky and found ways to sneak ‘I love you’s’ to Santana like in touches and #looks and by giving her things like the last handful of popcorn in the bowl while they watched movies together #or shoulder rubs after Cheerios practice #It wasn’t the same as saying it out loud of course but it was better than nothing #Brittany just really hoped that Santana would decide that ‘I love you’ was okay again someday #And when Santana finally did? Brittany made sure to say it back and never ever stop #Now there’s love in both Brittany and Santana’s words and in their actions; it permeates #everything they do for and with one another #They’ll never get tired of saying it #It’s always been true for them #Really it’s the best thing
